Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

Are your selling real Sterling Silver?

Yes, all our jewelry is made of pure .925 Sterling Silver. We do not sell imitation, fantasy or silver coated jewelry.

What .925 sterling silver means?

Sterling Silver is a standard denomination for a required by law, it's a metal alloy containing 92.5% by weight of silver and 7.5% by weight of other metals, usually copper, for sturdiness and durability since pure silver metal is very soft and could not withstand forging. The sterling silver standard has a minimum millesimal fineness of 925.

Typically on every sterling silver jewel must have stamped the numbers 925 to identify it as sterling silver if the size, shape or finish of the piece allows it.

How long it will last?

Silver is a noble metal, it will last for a lifetime with minimal care and will always look great.

Last time I ordered jewelry online I went disappointed with the size of the jewels I received compared to the pictures.

That will not happen with us. We sell upscale silver jewelry, our products are usually big, thick and sturdy. We are confident you will be greatly surprised when you receive your box and satisfied when you wear your TBJOUX jewel.

Why do you have such good prices?

Our philosophy is to sell high quality sterling silver jewelry at an affordable price, and because we do not have the expenses of having a retail store, we do not charge you for the price of rent, employees and advertising like a regular brick and mortar store.

Is my purchase safe?

Absolutely, we safely process all orders through our secure servers, you will receive  immediate confirmation and tracking number when we ship your purchase.

I have seen smaller silver jewelry pieces at bigger prices on Macy´s, Dillard´s and other department stores, why?

Despite the advertising and the permanent discounts and loyalty points they offer to give the impression they are affordable and your best option, big department stores are actually very expensive places to buy and you will not find jewelry like ours with them at our prices.

I have seen silver jewelry or silverware turn dark over time. Does this mean it is bad quality?

On the contrary if that cheap "silver" jewel you bought somewhere never changes color it might mean it is not real silver unless is rhodium treated.
Silver metal is naturally sensible to oxygen and other chemicals present in the ambient. Silver jewelry that you wear regularly will not turn dark, but if you store it or expose it to sulfur it can acquire a dark patina because of this reaction, but its easy to restore the natural shine of silver, there are several methods but you can use this: Hand sanitizer, not only fights germs but it's a great silver polish, squirt a few drops on a soft cloth and rub away the tarnish or use a commercial silver cleaning product. Just be careful to not scratch the polished finish or remove the oxidized finish from certain pieces that is intended to add contrast.
In every purchase we include free lifetime cleaning service, just send us your TBJOUX silver jewel and we will professionally clean it and send it back (buyer pays shipping).

What about allergies?

Unlike nickel to which 1 of 9 people are allergic to, an actual allergy to silver itself is extremely rare. However, if you are very sensitive to copper in rare cases you could develop a reaction since it is present in the silver alloy.

If I am not satisfied with my purchase can I return it?

Absolutely! We proudly stand behind the quality of our products and we are sure you will love them, but if for any reason you change your mind you can return it in original condition within 30 days for a full refund.

Do I have to pay for returns?

No, we will cover return costs. You will receive a full refund.
